Madness is My Crown easily took the top-spot as favourite track on Kingdom and now that I've listened to the original, I guess I know why. To be honest, I'd love to listen to a side ─ or rather original ─ project, solely focused on black metal. The sound, structure and speed are amazing but the rest of the EP is equally good, showcasing why KING STEPHEN has become such a valuable asset for dark synth enthusiasts looking for more than just pulsating basses.

Vultures in The Throne Room was my favorite from KINGDOM, and I'm happy to report it also works as a symphonic black metal piece.

Insta-bought when seeing my favorite from KINGDOM get a black metal variant. The new tracks, especially Of Embers and Stars, also holds up well in this album, even if the instrument choices are different from usual.

'Of Embers and Stars' an EPILOGUE of 'KINGDOM'

This is an special EP containing a Last, Extra Chapter in the tragic story of a KINGDOM consumed by Madness, Sadness and Fire that did not fit in the original final outline of the album but is still an integral part of the entire concept and is a track I'm very proud of, expanding and experimenting in equal parts with all metal, electronic and symphonic elements in one.
This special EP also contains extra pieces that complement the Album and where, in many ways, the catalyst and inspiration for what 'KINGDOM' came to be at the end. The Original Foundations if you will and I'm very proud and fond of this tracks.
Here are the Original tracks that gave birth to 'KINGDOM' in it original form: 'Vultures in The Throne Room' and 'Madness is My Crown, Fire is My Kingdom', written form the very beginig as Symphonic Black Metal tracks, long, long before the manifestation of this musical project. They have been locked in the Archives for a very long time and always wanted to shared them but never found the proper way or project for it, but now I think it is a good time for them to be released.
I hope you find enjoyment in this tracks as I know it is very different from the usual Songs and Tales released before, but I think still showcase the core elements and sounds that are the very Foundations of this project.
Many thanks to all of you kind spirits for the truly amazing support shown to me and my work and for the truly wondrous comments on 'KINGDOM', can't stress enough how much I truly appreciate it.
